About Azee 250 mg:-
Azee 250 mg is an antihypertensive medication. It works by blocking the action of certain natural chemical substances in your body (such as epinephrine, norepinephrine, and angiotensin II) that tighten blood vessels. Azee 250 mg relaxes blood vessels, which helps lower blood pressure. Azee 250 mg is used to treat hypertension alone or with other medications. It is also used to treat patients who have had a heart attack or stroke and those with congestive heart failure or liver cirrhosis.
Azee 250 mg is used alone or in combination with other medications to prevent strokes, heart attacks, and blood vessel problems. It is also used to treat patients who have had a heart attack or stroke and those with congestive heart failure or liver cirrhosis. Azee 250 mg may be given together with other medicines to help stop an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) and slow the progression of other heart diseases.
Azee 250 mg may be given alone for congestive heart failure (CHF), particularly when the CHF is caused by chronic kidney disease accompanied by high blood pressure. CHF is an inability of the heart to pump enough blood throughout the body.
Dosage:- Patients taking Azee 250 mg should take one pill once a day with or after food. Do not break, crush or chew the pill. Take it with plenty of water. Swallow the whole pill with a full glass of water. Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes and mouth.
Availability:- Azee 250 mg is available in yellow and red coloured film-coated tablets, imprinted M and 250 in rectangular boxes containing 28 tablets.
Missed Dose:- If you miss a dose of Azee 250 mg, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the Missed Dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Storage:- Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat and sunlight.
Overdose:- If you think you have overdosed on the medicine, seek emergency medical help at once.
Azee 250 mg may cause some side effects. If it does occur, they are generally not serious. They can include: Symptoms of overdose: Patients should stop taking Azee 250 mg and seek immediate medical attention if the following signs occur: headache or dizziness, fast heartbeat, chest pain, muscle cramps and weakness, numbness in the hands or feet.
Serious overdose symptoms include chest pain (palpitations), leg swelling (chronic oedema), irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia), as well as low blood pressure. The main side effect is low blood pressure. Other effects may include dizziness, fatigue, lightheadedness and fainting.
